3 Random Acts of Kindness (RAOK) – Change the World Today

What RAOK have you performed today?

Random acts of kindness (RAOK) have the power to do so much more than any of us can expect or predict. That must be why it’s called a ‘random act’ instead of an ‘expected act.’ But what if we all ‘expected’ of ourselves, to do something every day to help someone else? Would that change things for you, for me, and for the world? I am pretty sure if you are reading this, you too believe the answer is YES!

Here are 5 things you can do today to make a difference for others:

1. Hold the door open: The simple act of holding the door open for someone else to walk in before you do, will create an energetic shift. Who knows, maybe they’ll hold the next door for someone else.

2. Walk a shopping cart back home: Instead of just parking your car and heading into the supermarket, walk an abandoned cart back to the others. You’re going that way anyway… go ahead, return it. Create good parking lot karma.

3. Leave a happy note: The next time you’re in a public restroom, leave a happy note on the mirror. “Smile, because you are beautiful.” Leave something that makes others feel good.

Princess Diana left this world (although too soon), a much better place. This quote she left with us, was meant for all of us to put into action. What RAOK can you perform today, to make a difference for others?

“Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.” – Princess Diana
